Accountants are responsible for providing financial data. They prepare financial reports under IFRS as well as local GAAP, generate VAT reports and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions.
In this position you have the opportunity to further develop your accounting knowledge while you ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
As junior accountant you will get on the job training in SAP, so that after 1 year you become an SAP expert.
You act as first contact point for one of our European entities. You have a customer service mindset, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. On all the Mazda specific processes and country specific tax regulations you will be trained by the team leaders.
Your profile:
You have a bachelor degree in Accounting.
Given our international character, good knowledge of English is desired. Knowledge of Dutch is a requirement
You are familiar with common PC applications.
Furthermore, you are accurate, efficient, customer-oriented and a team player.

Responsibilities:
Support our Product Compliance team in interpreting and implementing the GPSR (EU) 2023/988.
Map the obligations related to GPSR throughout Mazda’s supply chain, identifying consumer products within the regulation's scope.
Support the teams in developing online sales while ensuring compliance with the regulation's requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, logistics, sustainability, finance, and customs, will be essential to gather product safety data and assess regulatory impact.
Contribute to project management and communication with internal stakeholders, EU authorities, our parent company, and suppliers to ensure alignment and transparency.
Support the validation and deployment of compliance processes across the supply chain, ensuring readiness for audits and market surveillance
